It’s an intense mode, and matchmaking is all over the place. That being said, it has been unbalanced for a long time, Techland attempted to balance the mode a year ago, but haven’t done much more after that. Well 5 hours into this mode, you can’t really see either way. By the time the zombie respawns and returns to the area the nest is nearly dead. The night hunter is supposed to be a legendary deadly entity that terrorized the city before crane appeared, why can it be killed in 3 hits? And combining the easy to kill with the long respawn makes taking out nests extremely easy for the survivor. And the extremely low health for the zombie makes no sense. And it's very easy to get completely blinded when a light is combined with a flare, it also becomes almost impossible to get close to a team that knows how to use flares and grappling hook to push you. End up cornered with multiple lights on? Try to ground pound and instead you end up swinging your arms wildly in the air. ![]() ![]() In those 5 hours it's mainly been a mix between "Wow these guys don't know the meaning of a UV light" and "Fuck sake I can't get within 2 feet of these guys without hitting light, ranged damage, or drop kicks"Īm I just terrible or is the mode intentionally favoring the survivor side? I feel like there's no way to counter a dropkick, UV suppression spit is very inconsistent when it comes to disabling a flare that someone is standing near, and ground pound almost never triggers when I need it. I've got 5 hours of playtime in the mode and am level 15.
